Account & Registration

How do I create an account?

Click Join GeoBD in the top navigation bar or visit /sign-up. Fill in your name, email address, and password, and tell us a little about your background. Registration is completely free.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

On the login page, click "Forgot password" and enter the email address associated with your account. You will receive a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive.

Reading Content

Is GeoBD content free to read?

The majority of GeoBD content is free for all visitors. Some in-depth research articles may be available to registered members only. Creating an account is free and gives you access to all member content.

How do I save articles to read later?

Log in to your account and click the bookmark icon on any article card or post page. You can access your saved articles from your dashboard under Reading List.

Writing & Publishing

Can I publish my own articles?

Yes — GeoBD is a community platform. Registered members can submit articles, field reports, tutorials, and commentary. Please read our Submission Guidelines before submitting your first article.

How long does it take for my article to be published?

Submitted articles go through a brief editorial review, normally completed within 3–5 working days. You will receive an email notification when your article is published or if revisions are requested.
