Your Guide to GeoBD

GeoBD is Bangladesh's geo-science magazine platform — a place to read, learn, contribute, and connect with the geo community. Here's how to make the most of it.

Browsing & Discovering Content

The GeoBD homepage showcases the latest and most popular articles across all disciplines. You can browse by discipline using the navigation menu or the topic tags at the top of the page. Use the Search function to find specific topics, authors, or keywords.

Reading Articles

Click any article card to open the full post. On the article page you will find the full text, images, maps, and author information. Use the social sharing buttons to share interesting reads with your network, or click the bookmark icon to save the article to your reading list.

Engaging with the Community

• Like articles you find valuable using the heart icon
• Comment on posts to start discussions (you must be logged in)
• Follow authors whose work you enjoy to see their new posts in your feed
• Share articles on Facebook, Twitter/X, or via direct link

Creating Your Author Profile

After registering, visit your dashboard profile settings to add a profile photo, bio, your institution or organisation, LinkedIn URL, and research interests. A complete profile helps readers connect with your work and builds your professional presence in Bangladesh's geo-science community.

Submitting an Article

Logged-in members can submit articles using the Submission form. Choose your category, add relevant tags, write or paste your content, and attach a featured image. Your submission will be reviewed by the GeoBD editorial team before publication. See our Submission Guidelines for full details.

Your Dashboard

After logging in, your Dashboard gives you access to your published posts, drafts, reading list, and bookmarks. You can manage and edit your existing articles, track engagement metrics, and update your profile settings from the dashboard.
